We love small, intimate weddings here at Quail Lodge!
This weekend just gone I had the privilege of hosting a small family wedding here at Quail Lodge for a couple from The Hawkes Bay. We have a wonderful elopement package which covers everything required for a gorgeous wedding including two nights stay at Quail Lodge. I always say it’s a starting point and can be added to or subtracted from to suit the bridal couple's individual wants and needs. Having never met this gorgeous couple before the wedding day I am beyond happy that they have said it was 100% perfect and fulfilled their every dream! For me, as hostess and organizer, validation of my interpretation of their wishes is the icing on what was a wonderful day.
What wedding is complete without a beautiful arch? I spent the week before this latest wedding creating a stunning, romantic arch. It really was exquisite. The weather played ball and we were able to put it next to the pool. The photos are incredible and the memories when the happy couple look back on their photos will bring a smile for the rest of their lives. The photo opportunities around Quail Lodge are endless and even if the weather doesn’t play ball our ace photographer will blow you away with what she creates.
Hair and Makeup are so important to a bride, a nervous time for sure! The makeup & hair artist I use is an absolute whizz who does a mind blowing job. I’ve told her that she’s always my number one choice as her work is so good!
We are very lucky to have a couple of beautiful rural restaurants within a 20 minute drive from Quail Lodge, and with transfers included in your elopement package this is the perfect way to finish off your wedding day.
